Esra NEWS Agency: This morning (Thursday, 12th of Mordad) weekly Akhlaq session of Grand Ayatollah Javadi Amoli was held online.
In this meeting, Grand Ayatollah Javadi Amoli continued the discussion of Nahj al-Balagha - Wisdom 111.
He stated, “The 111th wisdom of Nahj al-Balagha is this luminous sentence that the blessed Amir al-Mu'minin said according to this quote, «لَوْ أَحَبَّنِی جَبَلٌ لَتَهَافَتَ» it means if a mountain wants to bear my love, it will crumble! It is difficult for a mountain to bear the love of Ali (peace be upon him).
Such interpretations, which also have the sign of analogy and simile, have their roots in the Qur'an. Allah Almighty introduced the Qur'an with series of scientific attribute and a series of allegorical and comparative attributes. Its scientific characteristics are that this is a divine revelation and cannot be imitated, it is impossible to bring anything similar to it. A series of statements about honoring the Qur'an in the form of similes and analogies have been mentioned like ﴿لَوْ أَنزَلْنَا هذَا الْقُرْآنَ عَلَی جَبَلٍ لَرَأَيْتَهُ خَاشِعاً مُتَصَدِّعاً مِنْ خَشْيَةِ اللَّهِ﴾ it means if the mountain was wise and could endure, with all the strength and forte it had, it would not be able to endure the Qur'an. The same truth has been said about the perfect and innocent human being, the Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them), who are the partner of the Qur'an, and they are like the Qur'an. The truth of the Qur'an has its appearance and full influence in the truth of Ahlulbyt. If it is mentioned in the Quran that the mountain cannot bear the Quran, the blessed existence of Amir al-Mu'minin also said the truth of the knowledge that I have and it turn it into a love that is practical wisdom and someone who is my true friend who understands my truth, it is equal to understanding of Quran. That friend if it is a mountain, it will crumble”
He continued, “So here are four points; The first is the truth of the Qur'an, the second is the analogy of the Qur'an. The third is the truth of Ali ibn Abi Talib, and the fourth is the analogy of the Wilayat. So, if it is mentioned in the blessed Surah "A'raf" or other verses that if the Qur'an is revealed to a mountain, it will disintegrate the mountain, the same statement is made by the blessed existence of Hazrat Amir that if the mountain wants to bear my love, it will disintegrate. first Without knowledge, the truth of love and finding the truth of love cannot be achieved without attention to the truth of beloved and dissolving in his truth. Second, If something called the truth of love, the love of Ali (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) is achieved by someone, it will also be destroyed. So, «لَوْ أَحَبَّنِی جَبَلٌ لَتَهَافَتَ».
Grand Ayatollah Javadi Amoli said, “Hazrat Amirul Momineen mentioned the sign of being with Ahl al-Bayt and Imam Ali in that second will that if someone wants to be with us, he should do such and such, such. have such and such description. One of the things he said is «مَنْ أَحَبَّنَا أَهْلَ الْبَيْتِ فَلْيَسْتَعِدَّ لِلْفَقْرِ جِلْبَابا»، «مَنْ تَوَلَّانَا فَلْيَلْبَسْ لِلْمِحَنِ إِهَابا»، «مَنْ أَحَبَّنَا بِقَلْبِهِ وَ أَعَانَنَا بِلِسَانِهِ وَ قَاتَلَ مَعَنَا بِيَدِهِ فَهُوَ مَعَنَا فِی الْجَنَّةِ فِی دَرَجَتِنَا وَ مَنْ أَحَبَّنَا بِقَلْبِهِ وَ لَمْ يُعِنَّا بِلِسَانِهِ وَ لَمْ يُقَاتِلْ مَعَنَا فَهُوَ أَسْفَلُ مِنْ ذَلِكَ بِدَرَجَةٍ وَ مَنْ أَحَبَّنَا بِقَلْبِهِ وَ لَمْ يُعِنَّا بِلِسَانِهِ وَ لَا بِيَدِهِ فَهُوَ مَعَنَا فِی الْجَنَّةِ وَ مَنْ أَبْغَضَنَا بِقَلْبِهِ وَ أَعَانَ عَلَيْنَا بِلِسَانِهِ وَ يَدِهِ فَهُوَ فِی أَسْفَلِ دَرَكٍ مِنَ النَّارِ»؛ If someone was our friend, our friendship has degrees. He mentioned several degrees for friendship. He mentioned the effect of each degree. If someone was our enemy, his place is in hell.”
He stated, “Poverty here never means the material poverty - which is associated with dishonor - is one of the characteristics of the Shiites of the Ahl al-Bayt, which he said about them, "Whoever loves us should be prepared for poverty. Hazrat Amir himself said this poverty: «مَا ضَرَبَ اللهُ الْعُبَاد بِسُوطٍ أَوْجَعُ مِنَ الْفَقْرِ» » "سوط" means whip. Allah has not beaten any nation with more painful whips than poverty. Whether it is an individual or a nation, God forbid that they should be in need and poor. Everyone, especially the officials, should try wisely and justly to meet the needs of the society.”
His Eminence then continued, “Then Amir Al-Mumenin said in another statement, «لو تَمثّل لِی الفقر رجلاً لَقَتلتُهُ» My effort is not to manage the poor, but to give help to the poor. My government's effort is to prevent poverty through production and the like. If I see poverty, I will behead the poverty, not help the poor. Helping the poor is emotional. Eradication of poverty and making the nation dignified is a true honor.”
He continued, “ “فقیر” (Faqeer) does not mean a beggar. In Arabic, if someone does not have a good financial situation, they do not say that he lacks, he does not have. They say this is Faqieer. Faqeer is someone whose spine is broken and does not have the strength to stand up. In the holy Surah Al-Nisa', he said, "You should know that this property, wealth is the cause of your standing up. Do not leave this property in to a unclever officials." ﴿لا تُؤْتُوا السُّفَهاءَ أَمْوالَكُمُ الَّتی جَعَلَ اللَّهُ لَكُمْ قِیاماً﴾If the nation wants to stand, must have a full pockets. A nation with empty pockets and empty wallet is not standing. It has fallen. This is not a poor. His spine is broken. This is a handicap. Hazrat never says that if someone becomes my friend, he should become a handicap. What he means is the constant need to Allah. If someone becomes a friend of Ali, he should feel that everything he has come from Allah’s hand﴿ما بِكُمْ مِنْ نِعْمَةٍ فَمِنَ اللَّه﴾.
Grand Ayatollah Javadi Amoli stated at the end, “The result is that the truth of the guardianship of the Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them) is the truth of the Qur'an; one. In the Qur'an, there is a series of research, a series of parables; two. His research is like ﴿لا يَأْتیهِ الْباطِلُ مِنْ بَيْنِ يَدَيْهِ وَ لا مِنْ خَلْفِهِ﴾, We have brought a book that if jinn and humans get together, they cannot bring like it. The example for the analogy is ﴿لَوْ أَنزَلْنَا هذَا الْقُرْآنَ عَلَی جَبَلٍ لَرَأَيْتَهُ﴾ A divine manifestation would causes the disintegration of man. The blessed presence of Hazrat Amir made the same statement about himself and his special students that if a mountain wants to be Alevi, it will crumble.
