In this meeting, Grand Ayatollah Javadi Amoli, while appreciating the services that have been rendered, stated: God Almighty says in the Holy Quran that ﴿وَ لَقَدْ كَرَّمْنا بَنِی آدَمَ﴾ "We have indeed honored the children of Adam"; this means that the structure of human creation is noble, therefore, the officials must make every diligent effort to treat the people nobly.
He stated: We, the Iranian nation, are a great nation and are the descendants of greats. We live in a great country that has both history and geography. We have great scholars and scientists like Avicenna and Al-Farabi, therefore, it is deserving that the people should be treated with proper management, etiquette and respect, and based on human dignity.
This prominent scholar, with emphasis on the diligent efforts of officials on production and employment in the country, stated: Our country has immense God-given capitals and these capitals must be utilized. As the Commander of the believers (Imam Ali), peace be upon him, stated,
«مَن وَجَدَ ماءً و تُرابا ثُمّ افتَقَرَ فَأبعَدَهُ اللّه»
"Whoever finds water and soil, then becomes poor, may God distance him [from His mercy]!" meaning a country that has water, soil, and cannot manage itself, and is dependent on others, may God distance that country from His mercy! Officials must keep these words in mind and strive with diligence for production and employment to eradicate poverty from the country.
He further clarified: In the time of the Sacred Defense (Iran-Iraq War), we had young people who stood on the snowy peaks of the mountains in the cold winter at nights and froze and were martyred to defend this land and territory. Now we also have such young ones and people. They are our God-given blessings, and therefore, we must appreciate these capitals and not allow corruption to materialize in the country.
His eminence also expressed his views on Iran's response to the Zionist enemy, as following: This [Operation of] True Promise, resulted glory, grandeur and majesty to Iran. this action was taken with rationality, [based on the rationality that] whoever slapped, we must slap back.
At the beginning of this meeting, Hujjat al-Islam Seyyed Ebrahim Raisi, the President Of Islamic Republic of Iran, presented a report on the performance of the government and said: We have devoted all our diligent efforts to empowering the less privileged strata and eradicating poverty and fighting corruption at all levels, and we have always made preserving the dignity of the people as the cornerstone of our programs in various areas, and very good works have been done in this regard.
He presented a report on the increase in oil and gas production and said: In the operation "True Promise [Wada-e-Sadiq]", prudent action was taken and maximum coordination was made between the battlefield, diplomacy and the media, and people of all tastes praised this pride-inspiring move.
