Esra NEWS Agency: The series of lectures in the month of Dhul Hijjah is delivered by Hojjat al-Islam Wa Al-Muslemin , Professor Morteza Javadi Amoli, titled "Rites of Hajj" will be broadcast on Esra's internet TV at the address tv.esra.ir.
Hojjat al-Islam wal-Muslimeen Morteza Javadi Amoli expressed in the second meeting of this series, “The first and most obvious effect that can be mentioned in the first steps of Hajj is the Miqat, which is a place where a special action is performed and That act is Ihram. It means the person who wants to enter the Divine Sanctuary must first pass through these places and secondly, pass through these places with Ihram, whether during Hajj, Umrah, or any other journey that is going to the Beytullah in Mecca.”
He stated that all the manifestations of Hajj are provided by revelation, “We all must know that Hajj is not a story created by human thought, even not by a great figure like Ibrahim Khalil or the prophets of Allah or even the beloved Messenger of Islam, but all of them According to God's order, which he said: ﴿وَ لِلَّهِ عَلَى النَّاسِ حِجُّ الْبَیتِ مَنِ اسْتَطاعَ إِلَیهِ سَبیلاً﴾[1]. The beloved Prophet himself is a messenger, just as the founder of Hajj and the operator of Hajj Ibrahim Khalil acted according to Allah’s orders and instructions. Allah the Almighty ordered Abraham to announce from on behalf of Allah- Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala - ﴿وَ أَذانٌ مِنَ اللَّه﴾ [2], which in fact is this divine announcement that everyone should, based on this divine announcement intent to go to Hajj and the House of Allah. but how does this happen? The first step is for a person to pass the Miqat.”
By saying that Miqat is one of the divine rites and should be considered great, he said, “Miqat is one of the divine rites and it should be considered great and respected. Everyone from any region should pass through these Miqats where people would take Ihram. The position of these places is a defined by revelation, which is all determined by revelation. When a person attains the dignity of ihram at these places and he becomes a Muhrem and has the intention of visiting the house of Allah, from then on he is not a normal person, he is a person who intended the house of Allah and must pay attention to the divine order.”
This professor of Howzeh and university continued, “We must note that Miqat is actually a starting point for reaching a very high and transcendent destination called the Kaaba, which has been determined by the Almighty Allah. If someone wants to reach this truth and reach that sea, it is not possible without such rituals and passing through such facilities.”
