the conference of "Imam Khomeini, Islamic Revolution and Divine Politics in hikmat muta'āliyah" was held in the Holy shrine of Imam Khomeini. Hojjat al-Islam va al-Muslemin Morteza Javadi Amoli the head of Isra'a International Foundation for Revelation Sciences and Hujjat al-Islam va Almuslemin Abdul Hossein Khosropanah Dezfouli, the full professor of the institute of Islamic culture and thoughts, gave a speech in this conference.
According to Jamaran site, Hojjat-ul-Islam va Al-Muslimeen Morteza Javadi Amoli stated in this conference, "Perhaps 45 years ago, it was a super ideal that the Imam become the leader of such a great revolution and transformation that would be the source of change and transformation at the global level. In those days, religion basically had no place; religion was In a completely traditional, isolated and introspective atmosphere, but it was unimaginable that it could come to the social scene and create a new trend called "Islamic system", "Islamic government" and other terms like these. however Imam believed that Islam can be the source of such a change and create a new structure in the global politics.
The head of Isra'a International Foundation for Revelation Sciences, pointed out that this movement wanted be present in the global stage from the beginning, reminded, "Imam had a important rule for answering the questions in Iraq and France, and he himself stood up to clear the doubts in the field. He talked about " the republic Islamic system" with whole heart. As the Martyr Motahari said, "he (imam Khomeini(PBUH)) deaply has faith in this way". This is one of the issues we should pay attention to as a source of knowledge for the Islamic revolution. It is true that the Imam in Iran and Iraq presented the discussion of velayat-e-faqih in jurisprudential and traditional Howzawi terms, but it was Imam's efforts which brings this knowledge out of the traditional Howzeh and a traditional system to the global level.
"When the imam spoke about the features of the Islamic revolution and the Islamic system that emerged from this revolution, every moment people joined this school. Journalists and political thinkers had very important questions from Imam. Their question also was, do you really want to bring up religion in a living social arena today? Religion was in churches, synagogues and mosques, and most of what we see from Islam in Mecca and Medina was there for us. But the presenting of religion in the social arena and to be present in a social and political system, to govern and build a society based on religious and revelation teachings and to be related to today's developments in the world, is a very strange thing." He added.
Professor Morteza Javadi Ameli continued, "Those who had questions was not asking a political questions, but they really had a question from a cultural and epistemological perspective. They wanted to know we are talking about which religious and epistemological foundation, which wants to overthrow a solid 2500-year-old imperial system and create another foundation to move on the path of justice, freedom and liberty? how it is not going to be affected by dictatorship and so on? How it is going to move onward and take the society, in full freedom, to prosperity and perfection? All the efforts of Philosophers since several thousand years ago are to create human happiness, but still they truly could not build a foundation for such a political system. Where is the root of such a claim from a cleric who has no history in politics, government and governance? Therefore, the relationship of Imam and the Islamic Revolution must always be new and fresh for us.
He by pointing out that Imam was referring to a major and fundamental aspects, added, "One of the most important issues that Imam insisted on and he consider it as the bases of this revolution was, "religion" and "Islam" itself. Although Imam was politically opposed to the monarchy, but due to his personal intelligence and religious foresight, he followed the religion and Islam and said that we must fight against this person(Shah) and this monarchy and our fight is based on an Islamic point of veiw; Not from the place of a cleric that has a religious personality called Marja'a. No matter how great and noble the Marja'a is, it cannot deal with a mountain of political, military and security power. it must be a divine system and mystical structure. Therefore, Imam strongly highlighted the Islam and religion in his statements and he would not give any speech or state any opinion or position, unless they completely aligned with the religious principles.
The head of Israa International Foundation for Revelation Sciences continued, "These religious principles were taken from revelation sources and presented to the world so that people know, this movement, uprising and revolution is based on revelation teachings. We do not act outside the framework of Islamic thought. He wanted to say that what we are not taking a political action; Our Politics follows this Islamic structure, but it is rooted in the belief of all Islamic society. Islam is creating a political structure and if there is a parliament and a government and there is a propaganda and security system, everything must be based on religious orders and revelation. As we distanced ourselves from these sweet, pleasant, great and sublime religious teachings, are we weakened and lost all these aspects.
He added, "Imam was like an observer who saw this revolution like this. whenever an action make a deviation and distortion in the revolution and the system, even from the most important religious positions such as the Guardian Council of constitution (Showray Neghahbaan), Jamee Rohaniyat and Jamee Modarresin, he rejected it and did not allow it. He told everyone that we have a religion and we should move based on these principles. Does religion demand from us other than justice, freedom and liberty? where are you going? This path leads you against reason and deviate you from freedom. This move will lead you to tyranny. When people get upset with you and don't accept your positions and opinions, you must know you are becoming a dictator."
"It is very important that Imam stood based on religion and religious thought and as if he tasted this religion with all his soul. My honorable father said that one day when some judicial issues were brought up in the meeting of the Supreme Judicial Council, the Imam's face completely turned red. What a sensibility and spiritual closeness and thought to Islam he had! what a serious warning he made against those who took an evil stance towards Islam and religion? It didn't matter to him and did you could see how he treated their closest friends and students in such events." Professor Morteza Javadi Amoli stated.
At the end he stated, "One of the most important principles which Imam based the revolution on it and remained steadfast until the time of his death, was that we should not separate from the revealed teachings and not distance ourselves from religion. We have no legal institute above the Guardian Council of the constitution; it is the guardians of religious matters and Sharia laws of the parliament, but Imam's warnings to them was spectacular and we can learned from. With all the respect he had for these students of him and his loved ones, he warned them not to distance themselves from Islam; This leads you away from freedom, liberty and justice to tyranny and narrow-mindedness.
