Esra's NEWS Agency: This morning (Thursday, 2nd of Shahrivar), the weekly Akhlaq session of Grand Ayatollah Javadi Amoli was held online.
In this meeting, Grand Ayatollah Javadi Amoli continued the discussion of Nahj al-Balagha - Wisdom 113.
His Eminence said, “The blessed existence of Amirul Momineen, peace be upon him, says in Nahj al-Balaghah wisdom 113 «لَا مَالَ أَعْوَدُ مِنَ الْعَقْلِ، وَ لَا وَحْدَةَ أَوْحَشُ مِنَ الْعُجْبِ، وَ لَا عَقْلَ كَالتَّدْبِیرِ، وَ لَا كَرَمَ كَالتَّقْوَى...» In this wisdom, His Holiness has discussed some moral issues. Some of which are mentioned in his official instructions to some of his children, and some of them in the four hundred principles mentioned in the book Tamma Nahj al-Balagha is mentioned.
Grand Ayatollah Javadi Amoli stated, “Religious orders are diverse, especially in the enlightened statements of Amir al-Mu'minin, which is an explanation of the Holy Qur'an. part of them are related to the personal life. A series of orders are related to family affairs, and a series of orders are related to social and political issues and a series of orders are related to agriculture and economy, a part is related to international issues. All of these are related to the outward affairs of man, which are sometimes expressed in the form of a constitution that is not limited to a specific time and place. Also, sometimes it is expressed as an individual law for a country or a nation for a specific age and time.”
He stated, “For example, this word of the Holy Prophet of Islam «لا طاعة لمخلوق في معصية الله عز وجل»this is a constitutional law. It is not specific to a specific land, time and place. No one has the right to set aside Allah's decree and say, “I am appointed and excused”, but this is a universal constitutional law for all ages and places.”
He said, “The second part of the Imams' statements is about the benefits of these rules and regulations, and when they explains benefits of these rules, sometimes refer to the corrections for the behavior of humen, which by following these rules and regulations, human would become better human beings, and sometimes they refer to the welfare of the society. And sometimes they refer to the betterment of human situation in the next world, resurrection, heaven, and hell, and if one observes these, he will be comfortable in death and next world.”
His Eminence continued, “The third part, which is the most important part of the Imams' statements, is mystical, in which first introduce the human being. Who is the human being and how he was created, and then they say what the human being should do to become The Caliph of Allah? What he can do so his hand be the hand of Allah, his eye be the eye of Allah. These have nothing to do with the issues of morality, education, civilization and society. These are not included in the human law, but these are for the world of the Kingdom of Allah. This series of orders is for you to do something to become the hand of Allah, do something to become eye of Allah. When you become the hand of Allah, the work that comes of your hands is sure that it is the hand of Allah.”
He said, “This path is not just for imams, although its peak is specially for these holy beings, but believers and special disciples of imams like Salman and Abu Dharr and such people can also reach a place where their hand becomes the hand of Allah and their eyes become Allah's eye.”
Grand Ayatollah Javadi Amoli stated that the limbs and organs are divine soldiers, and sayed, “Mullah Amirul Momineen states in the 199th sermon of Nahj al-Balaghah that you should know that these organs and limbs are not for you; No one has the right to say, “this hand and this eye are mine and I can see whatever I want and do whatever I want”. It is not true. Know that these organs and limbs are divine soldiers. These organs report whatever you do and they will testify on the Day of Judgement. This hand you have is your hand but it is Allah's soldier. In the day of Judgment before you want to hide bribery, your body parts will testify to these things!”
He said, “If someone wants to become a mystic, a mystic does not mean to become a Sufi. To become a mystic means to become a true human being, such a person should neither go astray nor block anyone's path. He should say that I am the creation of Allah, I must also have his attributes. Therefore, he should do something so that his hand becomes hand of Allah, his eye becomes eye of Allah and his hearing becomes ear of Allah. in such a way, a person becomes the embodiment of «هو السمیع» and«هو البصیر» and nothing but light should not come out of his eyes and ears. Man should be the beloved of Allah. When he becomes the beloved of Allah, he will receive his special benefit in all the current manifestations of the Holy existence of Allah.”
Grand Ayatollah Javadi Amoli said, “Nahj al-Balagha is not only for political, moral, economic issues and such. It is not only for going to heaven and not going to hell, but these are also some of the benefits of Nahj al-Balagha that a person should become beloved of Allah. Man should move from loving Allah to being loved by Allah.”
