In the greatness of fasting we narrated this precious hadith, which is the sign for the essence and secret of fasting, that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him and his family) said that Allah, the Most High, says, «الصَّوْمُ لِي وَ أَنَا أجْزَی بِه‏» Fasting is for me; It means that the #fasting has an inner meaning beyond its outward ruling, and it has essence which is the meeting of Allah.

In that famous sermon in which the Messenger of God mentioned the holy month of Ramadan as "the Month of Allah" he said, «قَد أقبَلَ إلَیکُم شَهرُ اللّه»The month of God has turned to you, because in this month, "Fasting for Allah" is the main event. That’s why Allah says«الصَّوْمُ لِي». Because fasting is for Allah and this month is the month of fasting, therefore the holy month of Ramadan is called "month of Allah". The month of Rajab is the month of Wilayat, the month of Shaban is the month of Risalah and prophethood, and the holy month of Ramadan is the Month of Allah. Therefor we are ordered to ask Allah to provide you with the succusses in the holy month of Ramadan. Don’t you think that anyone can enter the greatness of the holy month of Ramadan before without taking the preliminary steps.

Because fasting is for Allah, the holy month of Ramadan has become "the Month of Allah"; If a person does not meet Allah in this "month of Allah", he did not reach the #Essence_of_Fasting, instead he fasted at the level of nature and the reward would be given to him is at the same level.
