Grand Ayatollah Javadi Amoli:

Shab al-Qadr is the best time to benefit from the Holy Quran and the guardianship of Ahl Al-Bayt (AS)

Esra NEWS Agency: Grand Ayatollah Javadi Amoli, "A heart that contains divine thoughts is Laylah al-Qadr, and a heart that contains evil thoughts is Laylah al-Qabr.

According to Esra NEWS Agency, Grand Ayatollah Javadi Amoli in the night of Qadr ceremony, " the days of the martyrdom of Hazrat Ali (peace be upon him) and the Shabbat Qadr is upon us. So, these nights are related to these two heavy treasures, for the descending of Quran and martyrdom of the master of All successors of prophets. So, it is the best time to benefit from the Holy Qur'an on the one hand and the guardianship of the Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them) is on the other side."

He added, "It has been narrated from the beloved Messenger of Islam (P.B.U.H) that «دوروا مع کتاب الله حیث ما دار» and it has also been narrated about Amir al-Mu'minin (P.B.U.H) «علی مع القرآن و القرآن مع علی»    and «علی مع الحق و الحق مع علی، یدور معه حیثما دار»Wherever there is Qur'an, Ali is present, and wherever Ali is, Qur'an is present, so they considered this harmonious presence as our duty and said that wherever Qur'an is, you should be there. "

Referring to the position of Hazrat Zahra (P.B.U.H), His Eminence said, "If it is said about Siddiqa Al-Kabri (P.B.U.H) that this lady is the essence of night of Qadr, it is as an allegory and not a determination; Because the fourteen infallible are all Laila Qadr. Wherever there is Qur'an, there is Qadr and wherever there is Itrat, there is Qur'an, so if Fatima Zahra is the night of Qadr, then the other thirteen infallible are also the night of Qadr, and because these fourteen lights are one reality."

He emphasized, "If we, the Shiites of this family, are in the service of the Holy Qur'an, we will be the night of Qadr as much as we are following Quran! Because this Quran was revealed in Qadr and in Layla Qadr"

The difference between Laylah al-Qadr and Laylah al-Qabr

The prominent professor of Qom seminary pointed out the difference between Lailat al-Qadr and Lailat al-Qadr and said, "The great figures who have worked in this field have told us that some people are Lailat al-Qabr and some are Lailat al-Qadr. Those hearts that contain the teachings of the Qur'an is Lailat al-Qadr, those hearts in which dead thoughts and dead motivations poured in, are Lailat al-Qabr and not Lailat al-Qadr! A person who does not have a living thought in him, a living decision does not come from him, a living determination and will does not find in him, everything that takes place in him is either material thoughts which is dead or material motives which is dead, such a person is Lailat al-Qabr, and not Lailat al-Qadr."

Emphasizing the need to avoid dead thoughts, he said, "What return to nature is dead, what goes back to moral vices is a cold corpse; what returns to discord, malice, enmity, greed, humiliation and the likes, is dead. A soul which stores dead thoughts and dead motivations, a grave (Qabr) is embedded in such soul not a Qadr! And if someone had living thoughts in the field of sciences and living motivations in the field of practical determination, such a person would understand living sciences and in practical matters living determination would appear in his life, such a person is Lailat al-Qadr."

Grand Ayatollah Javadi Amoli reminded, "If we want to know if we are Lailat Al-Qabr or Lailat al-Qadr, we must compare all these scientific thoughts and motivations to the Holy Quran, because the divine book is the alive that never dies (Hay'ye La Yamoot); both its knowledge is alive and its practical instruction is alive. If its knowledge was alive, our scientific thoughts should be weighed in the scales of the living knowledge of the Qur'an, and if his practical guidance is alive, our practical motivations should be valued by this scale. It should be evaluated live to understand we are Lailat al-Qabr or Lailat al-Qadr!"

Again, by referring to the great position of Hazrat Zahra (P.B.U.H), he stated, "So if it is said about Fatimah Zahra (P.B.U.H) that "she is Layla Qadr", it is a fact but she is not the only example of Laylat Al-Qadr; she is an example. because the Layla Qadr is also true about other holy beings and this is not absolutely limited. it is a relative limit, because each of these Shiites can be Laila Qadr in their own level, but they (14 infallibles) are at the highest of this Qadr; their followers are in the lower level.
