Isra NEWS Agency: At the 15th of Sha'ban, the birth anniversary of Imam Zaman (may Allah hasten his reappearance), the ceremony of Howzeh students getting their special clothe from Grand Ayatollah Javadi Amoli held at his house for a group of Tollab.
Grand Ayatollah Javadi Amoli by congratulating the birth of Imam Zaman (peace be upon him), said, "the line of Imamate is the cause of life in human society. Imamate revives and gives life to human beings. The Holy Prophet of Islam said,
«مَنْ ماتَ وَ لَمْ يَعْرِفْ إمامَ زَمانِهِ مَاتَ مِيتَةً جَاهِلِيَّة»
“Anyone who dies without knowing the Imam of his time will die the death of one belonging to Jahiliyyah (pre-Islamic time of ignorance).” If someone dies and does not know the Imam of his time and does not believe in him and does not follow his orders, his death is the death of ignorance. The meaning of this ignorance is religious ignorance, now it is either disbelief or misguidance!"
By stating that if a person lives wisely, he will have a wisely death, he said, "death is the essence of life. if someone's death was the death of ignorance, it is clear that he lived ignorantly during his life. Such a person during his life, watered the tree of ignorance and the result appeared at the time of death; And if not, death has neither ignorance nor wisdom! Rather, the guidance and misguidance of death is due to the connection with human life. Therefore, the death of someone who does not know the Imam of his time, is the death of ignorance; this means, his life is the life of ignorant."
He continued, "The meaning of "Imam" in this hadith is not the Imam that is antonym to prophet, but rather it means the Greatest Hujjat of Allah that has been among the people in every age, whether it is the Prophets or the infallible Imams, which in the present time means the Imam of our time, The existing and promised Mahdi; people are obliged to know him, believe in him and obey his orders."
His eminence, stating that human beings cannot reach their destination without divine guidance, said "Human reason is a good torch, but it is not a path, the path is shown by Allah. Divine prophets and Imams receive it from Allah and give it to human society; the intellect only understands what they said, the intellect does not have the power to map the whole world and find the path by itself, but the prophets and imams design the path, and therefore in the pilgrimage of the imams we humbly say, «السلام علیک یا میزان الاعمال»or «صراط المستقیم»!"
By stating that the torch of reason is in the hands of a wise society, he stated, "The guidance and engineering of the path is done by prophets and saints, and the scholars and scientists also have a torch in their hands and with this torch, they understand the path. They are not the Sharea (the lawmaker), but they are clairvoyant
