Esra NEWS Agency: At "the Red Crescent week", Dr. Kolivand, the head of the Red Crescent Society, and Hojjat al-Islam, wa Al-Muslimin Moazi, the representative of Wali Faqih in the country's Red Crescent Society, met and talked with Grand Ayatollah Javadi Amoli at his hous.
Grand Ayatollah Javadi Amoli, by appreciating the efforts of the Red Crescent Society, said, "The Prophet of Islam (peace be upon him) said in a hadith«من ردّ عن قوم من المسلمين عادية ماء أو نار وجبت له الجنّة» If there is an outbreak of water or fire and a few people rise up and stop the outbreak of water or fire and do not let it harm anyone's life or property or dignity, they are the people of paradise, this one sentence is the fundamental rule for the formation of the Red Crescent and if there are several principles within it, all of them depend on this principle«من ردّ عن قوم من المسلمين عادية ماء أو نار وجبت له الجنّة»"
He said, "Giving charity is sometimes by giving money and sometimes by risking your life, the Red Crescent is an NGO organization. They just not give financial charity, but they also offer their lives to the system and people. Presenting money and life made this heavenly group a pioneer group."
Honoring the memory of the firefighters who lost their lives in the Plasko incident and other similar incidents, His Holiness said, "the work and activities of the Red Crescent are a praiseworthy task because they sacrificed their lives and money to ensure people safety. They present their life and money to the people, and therefore, wherever there is a flood or a fire, the people are anxious, but when the Red Crescent arrives, everyone calms down, so the reward of their activities is the reward of the Mujahideen in the path of Allah."
He said, "The best blessing is the blessing of security. When Hazrat Ibrahim Khalil built the Kaaba, he said to God, O Allah, we built the Kaaba, but if this Kaaba does not have a populated city and there is no security in it, it will not be beneficial, so make this city a prosperous and safe city«رَبِّ اجْعَلْ هَٰذَا بَلَدًا آمِنًا» "
Grand Ayatollah Javadi Amoli continued, "In Surah Quraish, with the Abraha army was defeated, Allah actually answered the prayer of Hazrat Ibrahim, the founder of the Kaaba, when Allah said that we have provided them with economic security and sustenance, and they have been granted business prosperity, and We also removed insecurity «أَطعَمَهُم مِن جوعٍ وَآمَنَهُم مِن خَوفٍ» Therefore, security does not only mean social and political security, so the authorities must also ensure the economic security of the people."
Grand Ayatollah Javadi Amoli said, "We have been a great country and we were noble people. We have a duty to live honorably, so people's security must be preserved in all economic, social and intelligence subject. These people who are trying to protect people's safety by sacrificing their money and lives, surely Allah is watching over them and their work and activities have religious support."
At the end, Grand Ayatollah Javadi Amoli honored the memory of the martyrs of the firemen and other colleagues of the Red Crescent who lost their lives in this way and prayed so the soul of these martyrs be with the martyrs of Islam."
