In the spring, Allah the almighty does two things, one is to wake up the sleeping and the other is to revive the dead."
Esra NEWS Agency: on the beginning of the new year and the arrival of the ancient Nowruz, we are reviewing passages from Grand Ayatollah Javadi Amoli's statements on the topic of Nowruz and the interpretation for its Dua.
Ayatollah Grand Ayatollah Javadi Amoli said in his speech that "When you see spring, remember the resurrection in here after." Then he added, " our traditions ordered us when you see spring, remember the resurrection in hereafter as in the Holy Quran, one of the examples of resurrection is the changes in spring. In the spring, Allah the almighty does two things, one is to wake up the sleeping and the other is to revive the dead. These trees are sleeping in the winter, but they wake up in the spring. When they wake up, this tree absorbs the dead material as food and turns it into bunches, branches, leaves, and fruits, and revives the dead."
On the interpretation of the prayer for arrival of new year and the compatibility of this prayer with Nowruz Eid, he acknowledged, "the attribute of «مقلّب القلوب و الأبصار» for Allah mentioned twice in Quran. Both places are related to the issue of resurrection and hereafter. One is when Quran talks about disbelievers who did not purify their hearts, Quran says we will turn their hearts upside down in the resurrection.﴿ وَنُقَلِّبُ أَفْئِدَتَهُمْ وَأَبْصَارَهُمْ کَمَا لَمْ یؤْمِنُوا بِهِ أَوَّلَ مَرَّةٍ ﴾ In another place, in Surah Mubaraka Noor, which talks about the divine men, it says that the divine men are those who
﴿ لاَّ تُلْهِیهِمْ تِجَارَةٌ وَلاَ بَیعٌ عَن ذِکْرِ اللَّهِ ﴾ and ﴿ یخَافُونَیوْماً تَتَقَلَّبُ فِیهِ الْقُلُوبُ وَالْأَبْصَارُ ﴾. They are afraid of the day when hearts will be turned upside down, eyes will be turned upside down, which is also related to the Day of Judgment.
His Eminence pointed out,"The result of the discussion is that spring reminds people of the Day of Judgment.In the changes come by passing a year, which is the spring, we say to Allah, O Allah, who turns hearts upside down, O Allah, who turns eyes, O Allah, who turns the night to day, And you manage the day, O Allah, who turns the year into another year and the mode into another, make our mode to the best of modes and so that we don't get caught in the turning of our hearts, we don't get caught and our eyes turn to others! Rather, let's take advantage of the best modes. this is the essence of this prayer based on the harmony between spring and Hereafter and the bitter events of Hereafter. So, if it is mentioned in the hadiths, remember Hereafter when spring comes, and one of the ways to remember Hereafter is to save us from the turning of our hearts and the turning of our eyes.
